Sandusky State Theatre welcomes the North Coast Oktoberfest & 5K

  • 5K commences on Saturday, September 29th 10:00 am at Schade- Mylander Plaza (arrive early)
  • Oktoberfest beer starts pouring at 3:00 pm with dinner at 5:00 pm
  • Authentic Deutsch food & wine also featured 
  • Raq the Casbah at 7:00 pm and Bavarian Music & Dancing with Schuhplatter Und Tractenverein 

Break out the lederhosen and running shoes, downtown Sandusky’s newest event is about to pour onto Columbus Avenue.  North Coast Oktoberfest is for locals and tourists alike, burn off the calories at 10:00 am on Saturday morning and replenish soon after at 3:00 pm at the Sandusky State Theatre.  Runners 21+ will receive free entry to the Oktoberfest.

Featuring Great Lakes Brewery, Oktoberfest beers and German/Austrian wine, this event is sure to satisfy.  Hungry?  No worries, plenty of German food on the menu.  Guests should arrive early to claim German-style ceramic beer steins with the Oktoberfest logo.   For the full schedule check out www.facebook.com/NorthCoastOktoberfest or http://www.northcoastyp.org/

Sandusky Main Street Association Announces Redesigned Website

Sandusky, Ohio – June 29, 2012 – Sandusky Main Street Association is proud to introduce a new website (www.sanduskymainstreet.org) redesigned from the ground up.  A new focus on social media and community interaction was built in with an effort to better support SMSA’s mission.

“As we continue to see growth and redevelopment downtown, we felt it was time to upgrade our public and consumer facing information.” said Executive Director, John Lippus. “We hope the community enjoys the new site and uses it as a source of information and social interaction.”
